Great To Be Home

The little trip was great, but I have to say, nothing beats waking up in your own home and just chillin' out for the day. It seemed like the ride home, yesterday, was longer then usual. My cat, Ronnie, was very happy to see us come home. He is definelty a people-loving cat. Anyway, I will post the photos of this latest trip here very soon.

Happy Easter

How did you spend your Easter Day? Kayla woke-up to a big hug Easter Basket full of candies, chocolates, toys, and her "Scrat" doll, that she has been bugging me for, for about a month now: Kayla with her Aunti Alex: Kayla with her Grandma: Aunti Alex with her hottie: Kayla with her Grandpa: Kayla at Easter Dinner (well it was more an Easter Lunch): This was actually a pretty cool place. It had a tropical feel. Notice the Hawaiian mural in the background. The food was excellent. I had the prime rib dinner. Man, it just melted in my mouth. Kayla and a friend she met at church: I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at here: Kayla with some friends: After dinner coffee: Well, that's it for the pics. It was a great Easter, spending it with family. I have to say that we were all looking forward to going home and taking a nice nap after this.

Day At The Zoo

Here are photos of the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens trip. It was a pefect day for the zoo. I even got a darker tan just walking around the place. The Palm Plaza was a great place to grab some lunch. It had a nice tropical island feel to it. They played island music outside. As you can see in the photos, there is a fountain on one side and a waterfall on the other. Sitting outside and feeling the nice warm sun and warm wind made this the perfect place to relax and enjoy some lunch. I wanted to stay there the rest of the afternoon. Hitting the Beach Today

What a great beach day, today!!! Cresent Beach, in St. Augustine, is my favorite beach so far. The sand is white and powdery, you drive right onto the beach, and it is close to a snack shop and other places for eatery supplies.

Remembering Bahamas Trip

I was going through some of my photos and found this. It was our trip to Cococay Island, in the Bahamas. This was one of our stops during our Royal Carribean cruise. Man, I can remember the hot warm wind on my skin. The hot sun on my face as I lay tanning on the sandy beach. The smell of tanning lotion, the ocean, and fruity exotic drinks. Nothing beats that!

Disney World Vacation - Photo & Video

My sister, Rose, came to visit us, from Rhode Island. Then we decided to hit Disney!!! We spent three nights and four days there. It was not enough time to see everything there. We are planning on going back and staying longer. We saw the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Ok, I finally got around to getting the photos loaded. Enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Very Thankfull This Year!!! There are so many things that I am thankful for, especially this year. The first and most important of all is that I have my little Kayla back with me. We are both so happy to be together again. Don, the love of my life, is so wonderful to me and treats me like a princess. We were best friends years ago and have finally gotten together and have started building a wonderful life together. I have finally moved out of Rhode Island and moved to Florida. I have always wanted to move to Florida for many, many years. Rhode Island's cold winters, crappy economy, and high taxes have always been something I have long wanted to leave behind. Don and I have just bought our first home in Florida. There is nothing better than owning your own little piece of sun-kissed paradise. My wonderful family and also my new family I have gained with Don.

Fungus Amungus? Say What?

This is my brother, Ron's, band. They play in Rhode Island. Some have been asking me about the background music that was played during yesterday's audio post update. I really love their funky sound and it just sounds great while driving to work, along the beaches. Here are a few of my favorite tunes from Fungus: Don't Stop Fire Me Up!
